The Yamaha Fazer and FZ-S have received a new lease of life in the form of all new colour options. The Fazer and FZ-S now come in 4 new colour options. Let’s a take a closer look at what has changed on these two bikes.
Yamaha has constantly been working on improving the FZ-S and the Fazer by offering minor upgrades in the looks department. Not very long ago Limited Edition models of both these bikes were launched. Now it seems the brand is giving new colour options another shot in the market, to lure buyers. Also read: Yamaha Fazer and FZ-S limited edition launched
The FZ-S is offered in Fearless Black, Glory Gold, Raging Red and Tempest Blue. Apart from the colour options; there is also new stickering on the tanks and side panels. The bike continues to be powered by the same 153 cc motor that makes 13 Bhp of power at 7,500 Rpm and 13.6 Nm of torque at 6,000 Rpm. The new colour options do look nice and could help Yamaha attract some customers who were shying away from the FZ-S due to its old looks. This will offer some exclusivity to buyers who will purchase FZ-S’ now. Also read: Owner review: Yamaha FZ-S – Best choice for college students
Like its naked sibling the partially faired Fazer too has received a mild change in clothing. It is now offered in Streak Red, Milestone Black, Rising Red and Getaway Blue. There are no changes in the engine department for the Fazer either and it too spots the same motor that it shares with the FZ series.
This seems to be a good move by Yamaha, in light of the buzz created around newer bikes like the CBR 250R and the upcoming Honda Trigger. Do you think changing colour options will help Yamaha attract more buyers to the FZ-S and the Fazer despite the fact that they have been around for a while?
