2023 Suzuki Hayabusa Unveils New Colors, Upgraded Engine Compliant with OBD2 Regulations

Suzuki Motorcycle India announced today the launch of new paint schemes for its 2023 Hayabusa, along with an upgraded powertrain that meets OBD2 regulations. The third-generation Hayabusa, first introduced to global markets in February 2021, received its most significant update in thirteen years. Due to high demand, the flagship motorcycle was released in India just two months after its international debut.

The Hayabusa boasts a 1,340 cc four-stroke, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled DOHC, in-line four-cylinder engine that delivers 190 hp and 150 Nm of peak torque. It features a twin-spar aluminum frame, a 1,480 mm wheelbase, and a total weight of 264 kg. The motorcycle’s suspension system is supplied by Showa, with Brembo’s Stylema calipers fitted at the front.

Additional features include an LED headlamp, a TFT display within the analog console, a side-mounted exhaust system, and a large fuel tank. The Hayabusa runs on Bridgestone Battlax S22 tires and is packed with electronic systems such as a six-axis IMU, 10-level traction control, 10-level anti-wheelie control, three-level engine brake control, triple power modes, launch control, cruise control, cornering ABS, hill hold control, and more.

The 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa offers dual-tone color schemes, with different shades applied to the front air intakes, side cowlings, and rear section. Three paint options are available: Metallic Thunder Gray/Candy Daring Red, Metallic Mat Black No. 2/Glass Sparkle Black, and Pearl Vigor Blue/Pearl Brilliant White.

Priced at Rs. 16.41 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new Suzuki Hayabusa is available in India starting April 7, 2023. Customers can purchase the motorcycle at any of Suzuki’s big bike showrooms across the country.
