Dhoni adds TVS Ronin to his garage

Indian cricket legend, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has added the TVS Ronin to his already impressive collection of motorcycles. The TVS Ronin, launched in July 2022, is finished in Galactic Grey, and was handed over to Dhoni by Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium, at the TVS Motor Company. The TVS Ronin is a neo-retro scrambler that competes with Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Honda CB350 RS, and Yezdi Scrambler.

Powered by a 225.9 cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine, the TVS Ronin produces a maximum power output of 20.4 bhp at 7,750 rpm and 19.93 Nm of peak torque at 3,750 rpm, with a top speed of 120 km/h. It is available in three variants and sold in six colour schemes, including Lightning Black, Delta Blue, Magma Red, Stargaze Black, Galactic Grey, and Dawn Orange. Priced between Rs. 1.49 lakh and Rs. 1.71 lakh (ex-showroom), it is one of the value-for-money offerings on sale and does not compromise on the brand’s signature build quality and long features list.

The TVS Ronin is packed with features, including an all-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, voice assistance, Urban and Rain ride modes, message and call alert function, slipper and assist clutch, an integrated starter generator system for silent start, black finished exhaust unit, single-piece seat, and tubular grab rail. It is suspended on 41 mm upside-down front forks sourced from Showa, while the rear gets a pre-load adjustable monoshock unit. The TVS Ronin rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at the front and rear with dual-purpose tyres. The bike’s braking duties are handled by a 300mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear, aided by single-channel ABS.

In summary, Dhoni’s newest purchase, the TVS Ronin, is a neo-retro scrambler with an impressive range of features, a 225.9cc single-cylinder engine, a top speed of 120 km/h, and a price ranging from Rs. 1.49 lakh to Rs. 1.71 lakh (ex-showroom).
