2023 Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650: Now in US!

By Biketoq Editor

The 2023 Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is now available in the US and Canada in three variants: Astral, Interstellar, and Celestial.

This middleweight cruiser is powered by a 648cc parallel twin engine, similar to the one in the Continental GT 650 and INT650, with slight tuning differences.

The engine delivers about 47 horsepower at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 newton-meters of torque at 5,650 rpm, featuring a bore and stroke of 78mm by 67.8mm and a six-speed gearbox.

It boasts a 43mm Showa Big Piston upside-down front fork, a first for Royal Enfield, and standard twin shocks in the rear.

The front fork offers 120mm of travel, while the rear shocks have five levels of preload adjustability and 101mm of travel.

Brakes consist of single-disc units in the front and rear with two-piston ByBre brake calipers, featuring a 320mm brake disc in the front and a 300mm disc in the rear. Dual-channel ABS is standard.

It rides on a 19-inch alloy wheel in the front and a 16-inch alloy wheel in the rear, both equipped with Ceat Zoom Cruz tires.

The gauge cluster includes two round gauges, with an analog speedometer on the larger left gauge and a smaller LCD screen displaying various information.

The Tripper Navigation unit, powered by Google and requiring smartphone connectivity, is housed in a smaller round gauge on the right side of the cluster.

New aluminum cubes house the left- and right-hand controls on the handlebars.

The bike features Royal Enfield’s first-ever LED headlight, maintaining a classic look while providing brighter and more modern lighting.

The 2023 Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 has a wheelbase of 59 inches, a length of 88.98 inches, a width of 35 inches, and a height of 45.5 inches. It offers 5.3 inches of ground clearance and a comfortable seat height of 29.1 inches (740mm).

The curb weight of the bike is 531.3 pounds, and it has a fuel capacity of 4.15 gallons.

In the US, pricing starts at an MSRP of $6,999 for the Astral variant, $7,299 for the Interstellar variant, and $7,499 for the Celestial variant.

The 2023 Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 comes with a three-year unlimited mile warranty and roadside assistance in the US and is expected to be available in US dealers in the coming weeks, with availability in Canada to follow shortly after.
