BMW launches R nineT and R18T 100 years in India

By Biketoq Editor

BMW Motorrad just launched two badass motorcycles in India – the R nineT and R 18 – in celebration of the brand’s 100-year anniversary. These limited edition models are a homage to BMW’s rich heritage, boasting some cool features that pay tribute to their classic designs.

Let’s start with the R nineT 100 Years. This beast comes with a mirror-like chrome finish that’s both sleek and durable. The tank has a dual-tone finish of black and chrome with white double lining and knee pads. It also has a 100 Years badge, and classic chrome can be found on the seat hump. Plus, the bike rides on 719 Classic wheels with black anodized rim rings that give it a stylish touch. If you’re a fan of milled parts, you’ll love the optional 719 Shadow package, which includes milled cylinder head covers, engine housing covers, seat holders, and oil filler plug.

Moving on to the R 18 100 Years, it also comes with the Classic Chrome treatment with contrasting black surfaces. The front wheel cover and the side covers are painted in black, complemented by white double lining on the front mudguard. It also comes with a dual-tone seat in black and oxblood. If you’re looking for that extra touch of style, the Chrome design option might be for you. This includes a galvanic surface coating on the handlebar fittings, gearshift and footbrake levers, handlebar clamps, handlebar weights, mirrors, brake master cylinders, brake calipers, engine casing covers, cylinder head covers and intake manifold trims.

Both bikes are limited to 1923 units each – in honor of the year BMW Motorrad was founded – and are priced at Rs 24 lakh and Rs 25.90 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. BMW India Financial Services is offering a complete finance package, including insurance and accessories, for those who want to make their purchase more accessible. And if you’re worried about repairs, don’t be! BMW Motorrad bikes come with a standard warranty for three years, unlimited kilometres. Plus, you can extend the warranty to the fourth and fifth year at an attractive cost.

So, if you’re a fan of BMW Motorrad and classic designs, these limited edition bikes are definitely worth checking out. They’re packed with features that celebrate BMW’s 100-year heritage, so you’ll be riding in style while also paying tribute to a century of passion and innovation.
