New Jawa 350 launched

Jawa Motorcycles today launched the new Jawa 350 in India, priced at Rs. 2.14 lakh. This launch marks a significant update in the brand’s lineup, introducing a more powerful and feature-rich cruiser motorcycle.

The Jawa 350 is a heavily revised version of its predecessor, the Jawa Standard. The major change in the new model is the engine upgrade. The previous 294cc engine has been replaced with a larger 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This new engine produces 22bhp and 28.2Nm of peak torque, offering a substantial boost in power. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox and features an assist and slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts.

The design of the Jawa 350 has also undergone significant changes. It sports a higher ground clearance of 178mm and a seat height of 790mm, making it more comfortable for a broader range of riders. The wheelbase has been extended to 1,449mm, enhancing the bike’s stability. These modifications are partly due to the inclusion of a new dual-cradle chassis. The motorcycle’s kerb weight has increased to 194kg, up from the previous 182kg.

In terms of aesthetics, the Jawa 350 has received subtle yet impactful updates. It retains the classic silhouette but now appears more robust with chunkier tyres, pronounced fenders, and a thicker foam seat. Adding to its visual appeal, the company has introduced a new Mystique Orange paint scheme, along with the existing Maroon and Black options.

The Jawa 350 continues to rival other popular models in its segment, such as the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB350, and Benelli Imperiale 400. Its competitive pricing and upgraded features position it as a strong contender in the Indian cruiser motorcycle market.

This launch highlights Jawa Motorcycles’ commitment to evolving with rider needs and preferences, offering a modern classic with enhanced power and style. The Jawa 350 is expected to attract a wide range of motorcycle enthusiasts who appreciate a blend of traditional design and contemporary performance.
