Triumph Unveils Scrambler 400 X: A Thrilling Off-Roader Priced at Rs 2.63 Lakh

By Biketoq Editor

Triumph Motorcycles is making waves in the biking world yet again with the launch of the Triumph Scrambler 400 X. Priced at Rs 2.63 lakh, this beast is ready to take on the roads and trails with its rugged design and impressive features. For those keeping score, that’s Rs 30,000 more than its sibling, the Speed 400.

Under the hood, the Scrambler 400 X packs the same punch as the Speed 400, featuring a liquid-cooled 398cc, single-cylinder engine. It churns out a cool 40hp at 8,000rpm and 37.5Nm at 6,500rpm, all paired with a smooth 6-speed gearbox and a slip and assist clutch. The frame remains unchanged from the Speed 400, but the Scrambler gets beefed-up suspension and a larger 19-inch front wheel, making it a bit heftier at 185kg, 9kg more than the Speed.

Thanks to the taller suspension, the seat height now stands tall at 835mm, and ground clearance reaches an impressive 195mm. It’s clearly built for off-road adventures, with removable rubber inserts in the foot pegs, a sump guard, and a headlight grille all included as standard.

The Scrambler 400 X also switches up its tire game, with a 100/80-19 front tire and a 140/80-17 rear. The front brake has been beefed up to a 320mm unit, while the rear maintains its previous setup. And here’s a nifty feature: you can turn off the rear ABS when you want to get your off-roading groove on.
