Honda CB300F ‘Formidable’ motorcycle launched at Rs 2.26 lakh

The premium motorbike retailing unit of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India – the Honda BigWing recently launched its newest superbike the CB300F ‘Formidable’ in India. The brand-new model will be available in two variants: Deluxe and Deluxe Pro.

Deluxe will begin at Rs 2,25,900 lakh, while Deluxe Pro will cost Rs 2,28,900 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). According to the company, interested customers can book the superbike at any of the nearest Honda BigWing premium dealerships or they can visit the company’s website www.hondabigwing.in. The available colours for the bike will be Mat Axis Grey Metallic, Mat Marvel Blue Metallic and Sports Red.

Meanwhile, P. The new CB300F boasts an aggressive streetfighter design which features a Masculine & Toned Tank. Complementing these chiselled looks, the bike gets a forward-leaning stance. A split seat, and a compact muffler together with stylish V-shaped alloy wheels brings a sporty charm to CB300F’s persona. The new motorcycle is outfitted with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), a system that is exclusive to the Japanese brand. The dual-channel ABS, Assist & Slipper clutch and golden USD front forks are additional features.

The bike also gets disc brakes which are 276mm at the front and 220mm in the rear. Furthermore, the CB300F also comes with a full LED headlamp & Winkers, a fully-digital instrument panel to glance at riding diagnostics, 150mm wide rear tyre cushioned by a 5-step adjustable Rear Mono shock suspension.

Dimensionally, the Honda CB300F measures in at 2,084mm long, 765mm wide, 1,075mm height, and a 1,390mm wheelbase. The motorcycle’s seat height is 789mm, and its ground clearance is 177mm. The gasoline tank has a 14.1-litre capacity, and the kerb weight is 153 kilogrammes.

As for the powerplant of the naked streetfighter, a 293cc Oil-cooled 4-Valve SOHC engine mated to a 6-speed transmission with optimum gear ratios performs the duty. The engine at peak performance produces 24bhp at 7,500rpm and a torque of 25.6Nm at 5,500rpm.
