Ola S1 Air booking dates announced

Ola, the Bengaluru-based electric scooter manufacturer, has exciting news for electric scooter enthusiasts as it announced the launch of its most budget-friendly electric scooter, the S1 Air, set to hit the market on July 28.

The introductory pricing for the S1 Air has been set at Rs. 1,09,999 for early reserve buyers and existing Ola customers, while all other buyers can purchase it at Rs. 1,19,999 (all ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The purchase window will be open until July 30 exclusively for early reserve buyers and existing Ola customers. General buyers will have their chance to purchase the scooter starting on July 31. With deliveries starting in early August, the S1 Air is expected to attract a significant audience of eager customers.

Featuring a 3kWh battery pack and a powerful 4.5kW peak power motor, the S1 Air delivers an impressive total range of 125km and can reach a top speed of 85kmph. Distinguishing itself from the S1 and S1 Pro, the S1 Air comes with a conventional telescopic front fork and twin rear shocks instead of a monoshock setup. Additionally, it boasts a flat floorboard, setting it apart from its counterparts, but retains the twin projector LED headlights and curvy side panels, enhancing its stylish appeal.

Ola Electric’s strategic launch of the S1 Air comes at a crucial time, especially with the recent increase in prices for Ola’s existing e-scooters due to the FAME-2 subsidy cut. As electric scooter enthusiasts seek cost-effective and high-quality options, the S1 Air’s affordable pricing and impressive features are expected to make it a sought-after choice among potential buyers.

With the countdown to the release date underway, Ola anticipates a strong response from the market, solidifying its position as a prominent player in the electric scooter segment. As eco-conscious consumers continue to embrace electric mobility solutions, the S1 Air is poised to make a significant impact in the electric scooter market, furthering Ola’s mission to promote sustainable and green transportation alternatives.
