Hey there, RE fans! We’ve got some exciting news for you. According to our sources, Royal Enfield is finally giving us what we’ve been asking for!
The company is updating the popular Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 with alloy wheels and tubeless tires. This is a big deal because it makes fixing a flat or changing tires a lot easier compared to bikes with traditional, tube tires.
AutoCar india actually spotted a Continental GT 650 with these new features a few months ago, and it looks like the updated models are coming soon. The updated bikes should arrive within the next 6 to 8 weeks, they report.
So, what else is new? It looks like the updated models will also meet OBD-2 standards, which is required by the end of March 2023. Of course, all these updates come with a slight price increase. Currently, the Interceptor 650 is priced between Rs 2.9 lakh and Rs 3.14 lakh, and the Continental GT 650 is priced between Rs 3.05 lakh and Rs 3.31 lakh. But, with all the new features, we think it’s worth it!
